KiDA Academy

KiDA Academy develops children’s academic, language, motor, sensory processing, social, and functional skills by addressing each child’s unique talents and areas for growth. An individualized plan is created for each student, progress is measured with data, and goals are constantly assessed and revised based on the student’s progress.

Our curriculum engages the child as a whole, addressing not only their academic needs but also their functional abilities, language and communication, motor and sensory processing, social skills, creativity, fitness, and play. Each student has a program of goals across all of these areas.

Curriculum includes:

  • 30 minutes of individual speech every day
  • 30 minutes of individual occupational therapy every day
  • 30 minutes of group occupational therapy every day
  • 60 minutes of individual ABA-based teaching every day
  • Group music class, circle time, and games
  • Integrated technology for learning, leisure, and play
  • Art classes that develop sensory, creativity, and fine motor skills

Education with Value: Tuition at KiDA Academy is heavily subsidized by our benefactors. Our value equation for tuition is:

Cost for 30 minutes of OT
+ Cost for 30 minutes of Speech
+ Cost for 2 hours of ABA
= Total daily cost of daily tuition

While families only pay for the OT, speech, and ABA that students receive each day, they actually receive a full 9:00am to 3:00pm education with individualized curriculum and low classroom ratios.

  1. Tour facility and meet staff
  2. Fill out basic paperwork
  3. Complete Vineland assessment
  4. Admissions decision is typically made within two weeks of Vineland assessment
