Speech Assessments
An experienced Speech-Language Pathologist assesses the child's hearing, speech, voice, and language skills, as well as the thinking and memory skills necessary for communication. The child's current status is assessed through play activities. This 1-3 hour test can be performed in one sitting or several shorter sessions. A report is prepared with test results, summary of skills, and recommendations for therapy focus.
