Occupational Therapist


Kids Institute for Development & Advancement (KiDA) is looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities:

• Design, monitor, administer and supervise OT treatment;

• Conduct and participate individual and group therapy sessions with speech and behavior therapists;

• Attend and participate in meetings as required (team, staff, and IEP meetings);

• Communicate with the executive director about progress status;

• Mange client files and treatment logs in an organized manner as well as provide appropriate reports to interdisciplinary team;

• Document treatment findings, progress and other data;

• Research and investigate new treatments.


Required Qualifications

• Passionate about the treatment and advancement of children;

• Professional, independent, and sensitive;

• Good work ethic, efficient, resourceful, and organized;

• Up to date knowledge of occupational therapy;

• Master’s degree or equivalent in occupational therapy from a top school;

• Completion of 12 months of supervised fieldwork;

• Passing score on the national certification exam;

• Board licensure.
