Research Assistant in Autism


The Kids Institute for Development and Advancement (KIDA) is currently seeking an autism research assistant to enhance the services provided to children and perform the following functions:

Daily activities include:

• Researching developing and existing technologies developed for the treatment or prevention of Autism;

• Working directly under the Managing Partner, providing information regarding the latest treatments, technologies, and research;

• Prepare reports detailing research findings;

• Collection and interpretation of data;

• Writing grant proposals for research in Autism;

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team regarding modalities for Autism treatment.



Qualifications:

• Minimum of a BA/BS in sciences with two years of research experience;

• A Masters degree is preferred;

•Specific interest in Autism and other related developmental delays;

•Prior experience writing grant proposals is a plus;

•Experience with collecting and interpreting data;

•Proficiency with Excel specifically with graphing;

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

•Reliable, trustworthy, ethical and resourceful;

•Flexible and able to travel.
