Joseph Donnelly MD
Dr. Donnelly received his BA in Biology from Harvard College and his MD at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed an Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at Boston City Hospital with Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Donnelly concluded his training with a Fellowship in Child Neurology at Boston City Hospital, Pediatrics and Harvard Neurology Unit, as part of the Boston University School of Medicine Child Neurology Training Program.
Dr. Donnelly is Board Certified in Pediatrics, in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology, and in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. He has had extensive experience in Pediatrics, serving as Director of a Multidisciplinary Developmental Evaluation Clinic, consultant to Shriners Hospital for Children and Massachusetts Public Health Services for Handicapped Children, Co-Director of a Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) Clinic, Co-Director of the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic, and Chief of the Section of Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at Baystate Medical Center Children’s Hospital in Springfield, MA.
In 2002, Dr. Donnelly was recruited to the For OC Kids Center and the University of California, Irvine Department of Pediatrics where he is a Clinical Professor. He is also a member of CHOC Children’s Pediatric Subspecialty Faculty (PSF). Dr. Donnelly sees new and returning neurology patients at KiDA on Tuesday mornings.
