Kristen Basie Esq.
Kristen Basie received her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from Azusa Pacific in Azusa, California. While completing her undergraduate education, Kristen studied art and international business at Oxford University in Oxford, England.
After graduating from college, Kristen attended law school at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. While in law school, Kristen interned with the International Justice Mission in Lusaka, Zambia, was a law clerk at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton in London and was a law clerk at the Consumer Electronics Association in Arlington, Virginia.
Upon graduation from law school and passing the California Bar in 2006, Kristen worked as an associate attorney at Hanger, Steinberg, Shapiro and Ash in Woodland Hills, California specializing in civil defense litigation. After moving to Orange County in 2008, Kristen worked also as an associate attorney for Gates, O’Doherty, Gonterand Guy in Irvine, California as a civil defense litigator before coming to work for KIDA. Currently, Kristen is KIDA’s Assistant Counsel and Manager.
