Kristin Coates


Kristin Coates received her Bachelor’s of Arts in degree in psychology from California State University, Fullerton. During her time at California State University, Fullerton, she was a student researcher for the Fullerton Longitudinal Study, a 30-year longitudinal study that focused on motivating factors for children’s academic and personal achievement.

In addition to working in the lab, Kristin also tutored children throughout the Orange County area. Beginning in 2006, Kristin joined Project Independence as an Independent Living Specialist, helping adults with developmental delays to develop the skills necessary to live on their own.

Kristin’s continued interest in the special needs community brought her to KiDA after graduating in 2009, where she is the Assistant Manager.
