Michelle Konecke MA
Shelley received her Bachelor of Science in child psychology at Utica College of Syracuse University. She then completed her Master of Arts in elementary education with an endorsement in special education at Oakland City University. She taught 4 years at a private school for children with autism in New York and has experience with students from 18 months to 14 years of age. While living in Indianapolis, Shelley also taught students with emotional disorders for 2 years at a local public school district. Shelley is KiDA’s special education teacher. Her role at KiDA will be to develop and implement curriculum in the classroom setting.
Tara Pinca
Tara received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After graduation, she taught for four years in an inclusive classroom, teaching students with diverse abilities and special needs, including autism. She has collaborated with Special Education teams on the development and progress monitoring of goals for students with special needs. She also has experience in English as a Second Language Instruction and Strategic Reading and Math Intervention. After moving to California in 2010, she began working as an ABA therapist and consultant for children from age 2 to 17 in the home and clinic setting. Tara’s role as Special Education Teacher and Behavior Therapist at KiDA is to provide instruction for KiDA School students and behavioral therapy for children with developmental disabilities.
Sallye Burnett MA

Sally Burnett has a Master’s in School Psychology and is currently finishing up her ABA Certificate Program at National University in order to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has worked in Special Education for almost ten years. She has worked in public schools, private schools, and privately in homes. Her passion is helping children get the best education that they deserve and putting smiles on their faces.
Alyssa Huitron

Alyssa received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of La Verne. She has worked with individuals with disabilities ranging in ages from 5-21. Alyssa has worked as an ABA associate in the school and home settings for 4 years. Her role at KiDA as a Behavior Associate consists of implementing behavioral therapy in the classroom, clinic, and home settings.
Erika Jara

Erika received her Bachelor’s in Sociology and Minor in Psychology from California State University Dominguez Hills. She is currently completing her Credential and Master’s degree in Special Education Moderate to Severe disabilities at Azusa Pacific University. She also plans to pursue her BCBA and Speech Pathology credential. She has been working as an ABA Therapist with individuals with disabilities in the home and school settings for 4 years. She has worked with over 40 different individuals ages ranging from 2 years- 11 years. Erika’s role as ABA Therapist and Teacher’s Assistant, insists of implementing behavior strategies and assisting with instruction in Special Education classrooms.
